Description
American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Stepdown Intermediate Care position with night shifts and cardiac care experience required.
Details
- Work in a hospital Stepdown Intermediate Care unit with a progressive cardiac care focus
- Patient population includes medical, cardiac, pre/post cardiovascular surgery, arrhythmia, heart failure, and stroke overflow
- 28-bed unit with a nurse-to-patient ratio of 1:4-5
- Night shifts from 18:45 to 07:15
- 13-week contract assignment
Requirements
- Active IN or compact RN license required with Nursys verification
- Current AHA BLS and ACLS certifications required
- NIH Stroke Scale certification required (update interval based on facility protocol)
- Minimum of 1 year of relevant nursing experience
- Must provide a US Social Security Number and a US home address
Additional Information
- Responsibilities include caring for patients with complex cardiac and medical needs in a stepdown environment
- Local candidates are accepted but subject to a reduced rate based on radius rules that vary by state
- COVID vaccination is not required as of July 1, 2023
- Auto offer process in place for this assignment
