Job Description

American Traveler is seeking a CA-licensed RN for a Med/Surg Tele position that cares for transplant and complex GI patients, with night shifts and transplant experience required.

Responsibilities

• Work in a hospital Med/Surg Tele unit specializing in patients with liver, kidney, and pancreatic diseases
• Care for liver, kidney, and pancreas transplant recipients as well as patients with complex gastrointestinal disorders
• Acts as a Med-Surg/Tele overflow unit as needed
• Night shifts (3x12 hours, 19:00-07:30) with every other weekend required
• Floating to other units is required
• Provides specialized care for transplant and complex GI patients
• Only one holiday time off request will be approved during the contract
• Must reside at least 50 miles from the facility
• Previous employees must wait at least one year before returning as travelers
• Availability for lab work within 3-5 days of contract signing is required

Requirements

• Active CA RN license required
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
• Minimum 2 years of RN experience unless otherwise noted
• Transplant experience with liver, kidney, and pancreas patients required
