Job Description

American Traveler is seeking a Physical Therapist for an outpatient setting, requiring at least 1 year of experience and a TX PT license.

Responsibilities

• Outpatient rehabilitation setting with chronic, acute, post-operative orthopedic, and occasional neurological patient populations
• 5x8 hour day shifts, typically 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM
• Uses Epic for charting; Epic experience preferred but not required
• First-time travelers will be considered for this position
• Travelers residing within 50 miles or in specified counties are not eligible
• No more than 3 days of requested time off will be approved; no time off during the first week of orientation
• Former permanent staff must have been gone at least 1 year before returning as a traveler
• Travel pairs or groups are not accepted

Requirements

• Current TX PT license required if applicable
• Minimum 1 year of physical therapy experience in an outpatient setting
• Current BLS certification required
• Manual therapy and hand therapy experience preferred but not required
