Description

Job Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Med/Surg night shift position requiring a TN or compact RN license and at least two years of experience.

Responsibilities

Work in the Medical Surgical unit of a hospital setting
Night shift schedule with three 12-hour shifts per week (18:30–7:00)
Every other weekend and rotating holiday coverage required
Floating to other units is required
No on-call responsibilities
RNs are expected to support and participate in clinical education for nursing students while providing patient care
General orientation begins on Sundays with online CBLs
Holiday and weekend work is part of the scheduled rotation
Only AHA certifications are accepted
Scrub or dress code details are not specified

Requirements

Active TN or compact RN license required at time of consideration
AHA BLS certification required
Minimum of 2 years recent Med/Surg experience required
Telemetry experience preferred
First time travelers are accepted
Permanent residence must be at least 100 miles from the facility
