Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced Nuclear Medicine Technologist for a hospital-based role requiring ARRT or NMTCB certification and a Massachusetts license.

Responsibilities

Hospital setting with primary assignment at the Nuclear Medicine department
Cardiology and general nuclear medicine only; PET not performed
Utilizes GE scanner equipment
Two technologist team model; no solo shifts
Day shifts available with possible 5x8 or 4x10 schedules starting at 6:30 AM or 8:00 AM
Call requirement of 1 day per week and 1 weekend per month, with additional opportunities if desired
Potential floating to nearby University Campus as needed
Work collaboratively with another technologist in the department
Assignment does not include PET imaging
Specific radiology responsibilities involve cardiology and general nuclear medicine cases
Potential for on-call and additional hours as available
Mileage radius requirement: candidates must reside at least 75 miles from the facility

Requirements

Massachusetts license required at start; may be pending during consideration
ARRT or NMTCB certification required
Three years of nuclear medicine experience highly preferred
DOT certification in Radioactive Waste highly preferred
Pass/Fail EKG test required prior to start
Must provide two professional references, one from a Nurse Manager or higher
License required if applicable
