Job Description

American Traveler is seeking a Nuclear Medicine Technologist with at least 3 years of experience and ARRT or NMTB certification for a hospital-based assignment.

Responsibilities

• Work in a hospital setting within the Nuclear Medicine department
• Cardiology and general nuclear medicine cases only; no PET scans
• Operates on a two-tech model, so you will never work alone
• Uses a GE scanner for imaging procedures
• Primary work location is at the Memorial Campus with potential floating to a nearby University Campus as needed
• Day shifts available as either 4x10 or 5x8, with possible 6:30 AM or 8:00 AM start times
• Call requirement is 1 day per week and 1 weekend per month, with additional call available if desired
• Work collaboratively as part of a two-technologist team
• No PET scan responsibilities
• Opportunity to pick up additional call shifts if desired
• Scrub color or dress code details not specified
• Applicants must live at least 75 miles from the facility to be eligible
• Assignment is scheduled for 26 weeks

Requirements

• Minimum of 3 years experience in nuclear medicine is highly preferred
• Current MA license required to start, but can be pending at time of consideration (License required if applicable)
• ARRT or NMTB certification required
• DOT Certification in Radioactive Waste is highly preferred
• Must pass an EKG test as part of the consideration process
• Two professional references required, one of which must be from a Nurse Manager or higher
