Job Description

American Traveler is seeking a Vascular Ultrasound Technologist with at least 2 years of sonography experience and Epic proficiency for a 13-week travel contract in New Orleans.

Responsibilities

  • Vascular ultrasound unit within a hospital setting
  • Day shift, 5x8-hour shifts from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM
  • No weekend shifts required
  • Holiday call required
  • 13-week contract
  • First-time travelers will not be considered for this position
  • Former permanent employees of any LCMC facility must have been separated for at least 1 year to be eligible
  • RTO is limited to 5 days or fewer for the duration of the contract

Requirements

  • Minimum of 2 years of sonography and ultrasound experience
  • Epic EMR experience required
  • Active BLS and ARDMS certifications required
  • CCI certification preferred
  • State license preferred — license required if applicable
  • Valid driver's license required for consideration
  • Supervisor reference dated within the last 12 months required for consideration
  • Any employment gaps of more than 30 days must be explained
  • Candidates must reside more than 75 miles from the facility to qualify for travel rates
  • Previous charge experience preferred
