Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Stepdown unit position requiring an active OH or compact RN license and recent stepdown experience.

Responsibilities

• Position is within a hospital Stepdown unit
• Patient population includes those requiring stepdown level care
• Work schedule is 3x12 hour shifts with day and night rotation (7am-7:30pm or 7pm-7:30am)
• Shifts may be variable to meet hospital needs, with an effort to honor preferred shifts
• ECG rhythm recognition and safeMedicate assessments required during orientation
• Must work at least every other holiday
• Qualivis – Lotus platform will be used for submitting hours worked
• Assignments at any Cleveland Clinic location cannot exceed 18 consecutive months and require a 6-month break before a new assignment
• An acceptable score on orientation assessments is required

Requirements

• Active OH or compact state RN license in hand
• Minimum of 18 months of recent permanent Stepdown experience (travel experience accepted)
• Certifications required: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS from AHA or American Red Cross
• PCU or progressive care experience preferred but not required
