Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Med-Surg/Infectious Disease night shift position requiring a NY license, EPIC experience, and two years of recent specialty experience.

Details

• Work in a hospital setting on the Infectious Disease unit
• Night shift schedule from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM
• Med-Surg and infectious disease patient population
• Uses EPIC EMR system; prior experience required
• No block scheduling permitted

Requirements

• Active NY RN license required at the time of consideration
• Minimum 2 years of recent Med-Surg or infectious disease nursing experience required
• Current BLS certification from AHA or RQI
• EPIC EMR system experience required
• No employment gaps of 90 days or more in the past 12 months
• U.S. Social Security Number required; Canadian SIN not accepted
• Medical exemption for flu vaccination must be signed by a licensed professional; personal/religious exemptions not accepted

Additional Information

• Competency testing required for applicants with less than 2 years of experience
• More than 3 call outs in a 13 week period will result in contract termination, and make-up shifts must be completed within 6 weeks
• All requests for time off must be submitted with your application
• Travel pairs are not allowed for this assignment
• Local candidates living within specified counties are not eligible for this position
• Travelers may only apply to one position at a time
