Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Med-Surg night shift position requiring a current NY RN license and Epic EMR experience.

Responsibilities

• Work in the Med-Surg/Medicine E4 unit of a hospital setting
• Night shift schedule from 19:00 to 07:30
• 13-week assignment
• No blocked scheduling is permitted
• Call outs exceeding three occurrences in a 13-week period will result in contract termination, and required make-up shifts must be completed within six weeks
• RTO (Requested Time Off) must be submitted with your application
• Local candidates are not eligible if they reside in Albany, Columbia, Dutchess, Fulton, Greene, Montgomery, Rensselaer, Saratoga, Schenectady, Ulster, Warren, or Washington counties
• Competency testing is required for applicants with under 2 years of experience, with two attempts allowed to pass
• Travel pairs are not permitted for this assignment

Requirements

• Active NY RN license required at time of consideration
• Minimum 2 years of recent Med-Surg experience required
• Current certifications from AHA or RQI must be provided
• Epic EMR experience is required
• No gaps in work history of 90 days or more in the past 12 months
• US Social Security Number required; Canadian SIN not accepted
• Medical flu exemption must be signed by a licensed professional; personal or religious exemptions not accepted
