Job Description

American Traveler is seeking a Physical Therapist with at least 1 year of clinical experience for an outpatient setting, with active state licensure and BLS certification required.

Responsibilities

• Position is located in an outpatient clinic setting within a physical therapy department
• Day shifts consist of 8-hour shifts, 5 days per week
• EPIC is used for charting and documentation
• The role involves working with a diverse patient population to address functional status, mobility, endurance, stamina, and pain
• Main responsibilities include assessing and evaluating patient needs, developing and implementing treatment plans, and monitoring progress
• Excellent interpersonal, customer service, and communication skills are required
• Candidates should be highly organized, analytical, and able to multitask in a fast-paced environment
• Strong work ethic, professionalism, and ability to function as a team player are essential
• Returning employees must have been separated from Intermountain facilities for at least one year to be eligible
• Candidates must be able to complete background check and drug screening within specified timeframes

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited school is required, Doctorate preferred
• Current and valid state Physical Therapist license required if applicable
• Minimum of 1 year recent experience as a Physical Therapist, preferably in a clinic setting
• Active BLS certification from the American Heart Association required
• ACLS certification from the American Heart Association is preferred
• Experience with EPIC EMR is required
