Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for an Emergency Department position requiring a current MA RN license and AHA BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications.

Responsibilities

• Work in the Emergency Department serving a diverse island community population
• Rotating shifts with a schedule of 36 hours per week
• Uses Epic EMR for charting
• Shared housing is provided at no cost
• Care for year-round and seasonal emergency cases on a remote island setting
• Holiday coverage may be required as part of the rotation
• Scrubs or attire must meet Emergency Department standards
• Local candidates must reside at least 60 miles from Massachusetts General Hospital in Boston for travel rate consideration
• No religious or medical exemptions accepted for required vaccinations

Requirements

• Active MA RN license required; pending or conditional licenses are not accepted
• Minimum of 2 years of ED RN experience required
• Current AHA certifications in BLS, ACLS, and PALS required
• Experience with Epic charting preferred
• Flu vaccine required with no exemptions allowed
