Job Description

American Traveler is hiring an Interventional Radiology Technologist for a busy IR department requiring at least 1 year of experience and BLS, ARRT (R), and a Washington state license.

Responsibilities

• Work in a fast-paced interventional radiology department supporting vascular surgeons and interventional radiologists
• Facility is a short-term acute care hospital with 325 staffed beds
• Department uses Philips (including one biplane) and GE Hybrid imaging rooms
• Shift is 4x10 hour days from 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM
• All travelers may be required to float to other facilities within the state
• Epic is used for charting and EMR
• The department supports a well-rounded, experienced team environment
• All requested time off must be communicated at the time of application; changes post-offer may not be approved
• Former permanent staff must wait at least 3 months before returning as a traveler and must not reside within 50 miles of the facility
• Local travelers with permanent residence within 50 miles are not eligible for this travel contract
• First-time travelers are accepted
• Travelers may be required to work at multiple sites within the state
• Required vaccinations may include COVID and Flu per facility policy

Requirements

• At least 1 year recent experience as an Interventional Radiology Technologist
• BLS and ARRT (R) required
• Washington state license required (license required if applicable)
• IR/CV certification preferred
• Minimum of 2 supervisory references from the last 3 years in a comparable setting required for consideration
• SSN and DOB required for compliance
• Certifications must be current and included for consideration
• Epic experience required
