Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced Interventional Radiology Technologist with at least 2 years of IR and 1 year vascular experience for a hybrid OR vascular intervention unit.

Responsibilities

• Position is based in an interventional radiology hybrid operating room with a focus on vascular interventions
• Work schedule is 4x10 hour day shifts from 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM
• Overnight call required one night per week
• 48-hour weekend call required every 5th weekend
• Uses Epic for charting
• Will perform vascular interventional radiology procedures in a hybrid OR environment
• Time off is restricted during high-volume dates; only 10 RTO days are approved for the assignment
• Collaborate within a multidisciplinary team focused on vascular interventions
• Scrub attire guidelines will align with hospital policy
• Local candidates residing within 75 miles are considered

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years interventional radiology technologist experience
• At least 1 year of vascular intervention experience required
• Experience working in a hybrid OR setting is required
• Current AHA BLS certification required
• ARRT(R)(VI) certification required
• First-time travelers accepted if experience requirements are met
• License required if applicable
