Job Description

American Traveler is seeking a Med/Surg RN with pediatric experience and BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications for a day shift position.

Responsibilities

• Work in a hospital Medical Surgical unit
• Must care for both adult and pediatric patients
• Day shift hours, 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM, three 12-hour shifts per week
• Required to work every other weekend
• No on-call responsibilities
• Floating required to Step Down unit as needed
• EMR system used is Allscripts
• First time travelers are welcome to apply
• Block scheduling may be discussed during interview

Requirements

• Active OH or compact RN license required
• Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications required prior to start
• Minimum of one year of nursing experience required
• Pediatric experience required
• Two professional references required for consideration
• Candidates must live at least 50 miles from the facility
• No local candidates permitted
• Copy of driver's license and social security card required
