Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced Med/Surg Telemetry RN with a valid VT or compact license for a night shift position requiring BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications.

Details

• Work in a critical access hospital setting with med/surg and telemetry patients
• Cares for a diverse patient population including adult, ortho, peds, observation, and step down cases
• Assignment is for night shifts with varied scheduling
• Includes modalities such as ACU, critical care, PCU, and special care units

Requirements

• Active VT or compact RN license is required
• Certifications required: Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) or ENPC
• Certifications must be active prior to contract start or a booked course must be scheduled by orientation
• Previous med/surg and telemetry RN experience is strongly preferred

Additional Information

• Responsible for providing age-specific direct patient care using the nursing process
• RNs are expected to assume leadership and delegation responsibilities as appropriate
• Must comply with all state and federal healthcare regulations and policies
