Job Description
American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Cardiac Cath Lab position with day shifts and on-call rotation.
Responsibilities
- Work in the Cardiac Cath Lab of a hospital setting
- Four 10-hour day shifts per week, typically 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM or 8:00 AM to 6:30 PM
- On-call required one weekend per month and 1-2 weekdays per month
- 30-minute response time required for on-call shifts
- Holiday coverage is assigned on a rotating basis
- Uses Epic EMR system
- Perform cardiac catheterization procedures and related patient care
- Will rotate coverage for holidays with other staff members
- Candidates must be able to arrive within 30 minutes when on-call
- Local candidates allowed at the same rate except where restricted by specific facility/unit rules
Requirements
- Active RN license in MD or compact state, currently in hand
- Current certifications: BLS and ACLS
- Minimum two years of recent cardiac cath lab experience required
- Recent experience in facilities with 500+ bed count required
- Epic EMR experience required
