Job Description
American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Cardiovascular ICU night shift position requiring ACLS, BLS, and strong EKG interpretation skills.
Responsibilities
- Work in the Cardiovascular ICU (CVICU) of a hospital setting
- Night shift schedule with three 12-hour shifts each week from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM
- Float to the Coronary Care Unit (CCU) required as needed
- Every third weekend is required for scheduling
- Assignment length is 13 weeks
- Provides care for critical cardiovascular patients in a team environment
- First-time travelers with prior CVICU experience are welcome to apply
- Local candidates within 60 miles are accepted
- Every third weekend and floating to CCU are mandatory components of the role
Requirements
- Active MD or compact RN license required
- Minimum of two years of RN experience required
- Current ACLS and BLS certifications required
- Must successfully pass the Relias EKG Rhythm Interpretation Exam with at least 80% overall and 100% on lethal rhythms
- CVICU experience required if first-time traveler
