Job Description
American Traveler is hiring an Occupational Therapist for home health with at least 1 year of skilled experience and Oasis proficiency, serving the East Portland, OR and Clark County, WA areas.
Responsibilities
- Home health setting serving clients in East Portland, OR, Clark County, WA, and surrounding areas
- Day shift position, 5x8 hour shifts from 8:00 to 16:30
- Typical caseload includes visiting up to 6 patients per day with a 1:1 ratio and 30 productivity points standard
- No weekend or on-call requirements
- Travelers must have their own transportation; daily radius may extend up to 60 miles or 60-90 minutes of drive time
- EMR used is EPIC Remote Client and Rover with required Oasis documentation
- Primarily responsible for providing skilled occupational therapy to home health patients across designated service areas
- Supportive environment with efforts to minimize drive time and group patients geographically
- Mileage is reimbursed according to IRS standards
- Dress code is business casual; scrubs are allowed but not required, and jeans are not permitted
- Free parking is available
- First-time travelers are accepted
- All requested time off must be discussed prior to contract offer; post-offer requests may be denied
- Former permanent staff must wait at least 3 months before returning as travelers and cannot reside within 50 miles of the facility
Requirements
- Current OT license in OR and WA required if applicable; pending licensure accepted
- Minimum 1 year of skilled home health OT experience required
- Oasis experience is required
- Current BCLS certification required
- Ability to document in Epic and Oasis platforms
- Social Security Number and Date of Birth required for submission
- At least 2 supervisory references covering 1 year within the last 3 years in a comparable setting are required
