Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Med/Surg Tele position requiring a WI or compact license, night shifts, and telemetry interpretation skills.

Responsibilities

• Position is in a Med/Surg Telemetry unit within a hospital setting
• Night shifts with a schedule of 3x12 hour shifts per week, 19:00–07:00
• Every other weekend coverage required
• Patient assignment includes medical-surgical and telemetry monitoring
• Interpretation and sign-off of telemetry strips is required
• May require completion of a video interview as part of the selection process
• Locals are accepted for this position
• Expected to provide patient care to a diverse population on the Med/Surg Tele unit
• Holiday and weekend rotation as per hospital policy

Requirements

• Active WI or compact RN license in hand
• At least 1 year of recent Med/Surg Telemetry nursing experience
• Current BLS and NIHSS certifications required prior to interview
• Ability to interpret and sign off on telemetry strips
• Two supervisor references from most recent positions must be provided for consideration
