Job Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced Med/Surg RN for a high-acuity Surgery Trauma unit in Georgia with Epic charting and night shift requirements.

Responsibilities

• Work in a high-acuity Surgery Trauma unit on a medical/surgical hospital floor
• Patient population includes spinal neuro trauma, gunshot injuries, and complex surgical cases
• Night shift schedule with 12-hour shifts, 3 shifts per week
• No block scheduling; must be flexible with shift assignments
• No on-call requirement
• EMR system is Epic and prior experience is required
• No requests for time off (RTO) are permitted during this assignment
• Responsibilities include caring for spinal, neuro, and trauma surgery patients, including those with gunshot wounds, paraplegia, and quadriplegia
• Assignment requires up-to-date credentials and references
• Team provides support in a fast-paced, high-acuity environment

Requirements

• Active GA or compact RN license
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification; ACLS preferred
• Minimum 2 years of recent Med/Surg experience, specifically in surgery trauma
• Epic charting experience required
