Job Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a high-acuity Med/Surg Surgery Trauma unit night shift role, requiring an active GA or compact RN license and Epic experience.

Responsibilities

• Work in the Surgery Trauma unit within a hospital setting
• High-acuity floor with spinal neuro trauma, surgical, gunshot, and complex trauma patients including quads and paraplegics
• Night shift, 12 hours per shift, three shifts per week
• No on-call responsibilities
• Experience with Epic EMR required
• Responsible for caring for critical trauma and surgical patients, including spinal, neuro, and gunshot wound cases
• No RTO (requested time off) allowed during contract period
• Must be comfortable in a high-acuity trauma environment
• First time travelers are not specifically excluded

Requirements

• Active GA or compact RN license required and in hand
• Minimum 2 years of recent Med/Surg Surgery Trauma nursing experience
• BLS certification required, ACLS preferred
• Epic EMR experience required
• Must be willing to work assigned shifts, no block scheduling allowed
