Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Med/Surg long-term acute care night shift position requiring a NC or compact RN license and recent specialty experience.

Responsibilities

• Work in a Med/Surg unit within a long-term acute care hospital
• Patient population includes adults requiring extended medical and surgical care
• Night shift schedule from 18:45 to 07:15
• Electronic timekeeping system required for clocking in and out
• Must be willing to float within a 25-mile radius as required
• Dress code and scrub requirements follow facility policy
• RTO rules apply; all requests must be communicated beforehand
• Local candidates must reside at least 50 miles from the facility
• Compliance process requires no certifications expiring during first 30 days

Requirements

• Active NC or compact RN license required
• Minimum of 2 years of recent Med/Surg or LTAC experience
• BLS and ACLS certifications required; must not expire within first 30 days of assignment
• No employment gaps of 90 days or more in the past 12 months
• Full US Social Security Number required for consideration
• No current permanent employment with any location within the specified health system
• Must provide documentation for licensure and certifications prior to assignment
• RCIS and RQI certifications not accepted
