Description
American Traveler is seeking a Physical Therapist for an acute care hospital position requiring at least 1-2 years of experience and a TX state PT license.
Details
- Position is based in an acute care hospital setting
- Day shift schedule with 5x8 hour shifts from 8:00 to 16:30
- Physical therapy unit focused on acute care patients
- Epic EMR is used; prior Epic experience is preferred
Requirements
- Current and valid TX state license required if applicable
- BLS certification required
- Minimum 1-2 years of recent physical therapy experience required
- Prior travel therapy experience is preferred but not required
- Experience using Epic EMR preferred
Additional Information
- No travel pairs or groups will be accepted
- Former permanent staff must have a one year separation before eligibility as a traveler
- No more than 3 days of requested time off will be approved; no time off is allowed during the first week of orientation
- Local candidates residing within 50 miles are not accepted
- Travelers residing in certain counties are not eligible for contract consideration
- First-time travelers will be considered for this role
