Description

American Traveler is seeking a Physical Therapist for an acute care hospital position requiring at least 1-2 years of experience and a TX state PT license.

Details

• Position is based in an acute care hospital setting
• Day shift schedule with 5x8 hour shifts from 8:00 to 16:30
• Physical therapy unit focused on acute care patients
• Epic EMR is used; prior Epic experience is preferred

Requirements

• Current and valid TX state license required if applicable
• BLS certification required
• Minimum 1-2 years of recent physical therapy experience required
• Prior travel therapy experience is preferred but not required
• Experience using Epic EMR preferred

Additional Information

• No travel pairs or groups will be accepted
• Former permanent staff must have a one year separation before eligibility as a traveler
• No more than 3 days of requested time off will be approved; no time off is allowed during the first week of orientation
• Local candidates residing within 50 miles are not accepted
• Travelers residing in certain counties are not eligible for contract consideration
• First-time travelers will be considered for this role
