Description

American Traveler is seeking a Physical Therapist for an acute care hospital setting, requiring at least 1-2 years of experience and a TX state license.

Details

  • Acute care hospital setting working within the Physical Therapy department
  • Day shifts with a 5x8 hour schedule from 9:00 AM to 5:30 PM
  • Utilizes Epic for charting; experience with Epic is preferred but not required

Requirements

  • Current TX state PT license required
  • Current BLS certification required
  • At least 1-2 years of recent physical therapy experience in an acute care setting required
  • Travel experience preferred but not required
  • Experience with Epic charting system preferred
  • Applicants residing within 50 miles of the facility or in the following counties are not eligible: Henderson, Anderson, Cherokee, Rusk, Panola, Smith, Gregg, Van Zandt, Wood, Upshur, Camp, Hopkins, Franklin, Titus, and Morris
  • License required if applicable

Additional Information

  • No travel pairs or groups will be accepted for this position
  • First-time travelers may be considered
  • Former permanent staff must wait one year before returning as a traveler
  • No more than 3 days of requested time off will be auto-approved, with no time off permitted during the first week of orientation
