Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Labor & Delivery night shift position requiring at least three years of L&D experience and a NM or compact RN license.

Responsibilities

• Work in the Labor & Delivery unit of a hospital
• Night shift schedule with 4x12 hour shifts from 19:00 to 07:30
• Option for 36 or 48 hour work weeks
• Weekend shifts required: 4-6 per 6 week period
• Uses Epic EMR system; Epic charting experience preferred
• Scrubs are provided by the facility
• First time travelers are welcome to apply
• No travel pairs or groups accepted for this assignment
• No more than three days of requested time off (RTO) will be approved, and no RTO is allowed during the first week of orientation

Requirements

• Active NM or compact RN license required at the time of consideration
• Minimum three years of recent Labor & Delivery nursing experience required
• Certifications required: BLS, ACLS, NRP, and AWHONN Intermediate (pending certifications accepted)
• Epic charting experience preferred
• Local candidates within 50 miles are not eligible
• Former permanent staff must have at least one year since last employment at the facility
