Job Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced ICU RN for a night shift position requiring a NM or compact RN license and 1-2 years of ICU experience.

Responsibilities

• Work in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) of a hospital
• Night shift schedule with 4x12 hour shifts from 18:30 to 07:00
• Patient ratio of 1:2
• Required to float to other units as needed
• Weekends are required as part of the schedule
• Option to work either 36 or 48 hours per week
• First time travelers are welcome to apply
• No travel pairs or groups are permitted
• A maximum of 3 days of RTO will be automatically approved and no RTO is permitted during the first week of orientation

Requirements

• Active NM or compact state RN license required at the time of consideration
• Minimum of 1-2 years ICU RN experience required
• EPIC charting experience preferred
• Locals within 50 miles are not eligible for consideration
• Former permanent staff must have been gone at least one year before returning as a traveler
