Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a night shift ICU position requiring a NM or compact license and ACLS/BLS certifications.

Responsibilities

• Work in a hospital ICU unit
• Night shift position with 4x12 hour shifts from 19:00 to 7:30
• Options for 36 or 48 hour work weeks
• Patient population consists of critical care cases
• Weekend shifts required
• Floating to other units is required
• Epic charting experience is preferred but not required
• First-time travelers are accepted for this position
• Candidates who were former perm staff must have been gone for at least one year before returning as travelers
• No travel pairs or groups will be considered
• Candidates residing within 50 miles are not eligible
• No more than 3 days of requested time off will be automatically approved
• No time off allowed during the first week of orientation

Requirements

• Active NM or compact RN license required at time of consideration
• Minimum of 1 year recent ICU experience required
• Current ACLS and BLS certifications required
• 1-2 years of ICU nursing experience preferred
• Epic EMR experience preferred
