Description

Job Description

American Traveler is hiring an RN for a Medical Surgical Float Pool position requiring a WV or Compact RN license and at least 1 year of experience.

Responsibilities

Work in a short-term acute care hospital with Level II Trauma and teaching designation
Medical Surgical Float Pool covering various units as assigned
12-hour night shifts (3x12), 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
13-week contract assignment
Cerner charting system used
First-time travelers are encouraged to apply
Black scrubs required; Cabell T-shirt may be worn instead of a scrub top; surgery scrubs provided if assigned to surgery
Free parking available in the lot and garage for travelers
Part of a collaborative team in a major teaching hospital environment

Requirements

Active WV or Compact RN license required
Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
Minimum 1 year of recent medical surgical nursing experience
Two professional references needed for consideration
