Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced CVOR RN with general OR experience and a LA or compact RN license for a day shift contract.

Responsibilities

• Work in the Cardiovascular Operating Room (CVOR) and general operating room setting
• Day shift schedule with 5x8 hour shifts from 8:30 to 17:00
• Patient population includes cardiovascular surgical cases and general OR procedures
• Use of Epic EMR is required
• Responsibilities include assisting in cardiovascular and general surgical procedures
• Strict RTO policy allows for 5 days or less of requested time off
• Scrub or dress code requirements in line with operating room protocols
• Team-oriented environment with multidisciplinary support

Requirements

• Active LA or compact RN license
• Current ACLS, BLS, and CPI certifications (CPI can be obtained at the facility)
• Minimum of 2 years operating room RN experience, including CVOR and general OR
• Epic EMR experience required
• No first time travelers will be considered
• Must comply with a 75 mile radius rule for eligibility
• Previous permanent employees at any LCMC facility must be gone at least 1 year to be considered
