Description

American Traveler is seeking a skilled MRI Technologist with 2+ years Level 1 Trauma Center or teaching facility experience and Siemens MR proficiency for weekend day shifts.

Details

Work in a hospital MRI department with potential floating to another nearby hospital
Handles MRI cases including anesthesia and pediatric patients
Experience with Siemens MR equipment is required
Uses Epic EMR and PACS with experience preferred
Three 12-hour day shifts from Friday to Sunday, 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM

Requirements

Current BLS, ARRT (R), and ARRT (MR) certifications required
Minimum 2 years of MRI experience in a Level 1 Trauma Center or teaching hospital setting preferred
Experience with Siemens MR systems required
Knowledge of MRI safety, including implant screening and adherence to scanning protocols
Experience working with anesthesia and pediatric patients
Two recent supervisory references from within the last three years required for consideration
State license not required; license required if applicable
No adverse licensure history accepted

Additional Information

Main responsibilities include performing MRI scans, researching implants, and following strict MRI safety guidelines
Must provide all requested time off at time of application; RTO submitted later will not be approved
Permanent staff must have a six-month separation before returning as a traveler
Local candidates residing within 100 miles are not eligible for this position
