Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced MRI Technologist with ARRT credentials and Siemens MR proficiency for weekend day shifts.

Responsibilities

• Work in a hospital MRI department, with potential floating to related facilities as needed
• Day shift schedule, Saturday through Monday, working three 12-hour shifts from 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM
• Handles a range of cases, including adult, pediatric, anesthesia, and implant imaging
• Siemens MRI equipment is used and specific experience is required
• Epic and PACS systems are used, with prior experience preferred
• Level 1 Trauma Center and academic teaching environment
• Responsible for performing MRI procedures, including complex and pediatric cases
• Must adhere to safety guidelines and research protocols for implants
• Return staff must be gone at least 6 months before returning as a traveler
• RTO (requested time off) must be disclosed at time of application
• Local candidates with a permanent residence within 100 miles are not eligible
• MRI scrubs or dress code must be followed as per department policy
• License required if applicable

Requirements

• Active BLS, ARRT (R), and ARRT (MR) certifications are required
• Minimum of 2 years MRI experience in a Level 1 Trauma Center or teaching hospital preferred
• Proficiency with Siemens MRI systems is required
• Knowledge of MRI safety, including implant research and scanning protocols
• Experience with anesthesia and pediatric MRI cases preferred
• References from two supervisors within the last three years are required
• Certifications must be available for consideration
