Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced Operating Room RN with Level 1 trauma and circulating experience for a contract in Ohio.

Responsibilities

• Hospital-based Operating Room setting
• Circulator role covering multiple specialties including Ortho (Trauma, Joints, Sports Med, Shoulders) and Robotic surgeries (DaVinci)
• Schedule is typically three 12-hour day shifts, Monday to Friday from 6:30 to 19:30
• On-call is required after 19:00 to 6:30 on weekdays and for 24-hour shifts on weekends
• Possible floating to Outpatient ORs on the 2nd floor
• Level 1 trauma experience required
• Uses Epic EMR system with experience required
• Must be willing and able to take on-call shifts during weeknights and weekends
• Team may include other circulating and scrub nurses and support staff
• Holiday coverage may be required if it falls within assignment
• Candidates may be asked to float to outpatient operating room as needed
• Professional scrubs are required on duty

Requirements

• Active OH or Compact RN license required
• Minimum 2 years of RN experience required
• Experience circulating in the OR required
• Level 1 trauma center experience required
• Epic EMR experience required
• BLS certification required
• ACLS certification preferred
• Experience with conscious sedation and scrub preferred
• Prior travel assignment experience preferred
