Description

American Traveler is seeking a Physical Therapist with at least 1 year of recent home health experience for a daytime position covering a wide territory.

Details

Home health setting with patient coverage in Port Charlotte, Englewood, Venice, Nokomis, Osprey, and Sarasota
Geriatric patient population
Average caseload of 5 to 7 patients per day
Day shift schedule, Monday through Friday, typically 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM
No on-call requirements
Territory can extend up to a 60-mile radius from the home base
EMR system is HCHB; prior experience with this system is required
Oasis documentation experience required
Mileage is reimbursed at the IRS standard rate
iPad provided for work

Requirements

Current state PT license required if applicable
Minimum 1 year of recent home health physical therapy experience required
Current BLS certification required
Experience with HCHB EMR required
Experience with Oasis documentation required
Flexibility to travel within the assigned territory
Must be able to wear scrubs in any color (no jeans)

Additional Information

Main responsibilities include providing physical therapy services to geriatric patients in their homes
First-time travelers are welcome to apply
Local candidates are accepted at the travel rate
Scrubs are required and must not include jeans
Mileage reimbursement and iPad provided to support mobile work
