Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a night shift Long-Term Acute Care position, requiring a CO or compact RN license and recent specialty experience.

Responsibilities

• Position is located in a Long-Term Acute Care (LTAC) setting
• Assigned to care for chronic patients on the CHRONIC 1 unit
• 12-hour night shifts from 18:00 to 06:30
• 13-week contract assignment
• Care primarily for adult chronic and medically complex patients
• Staff are required to clock in and out through electronic timekeeping
• Local candidates are accepted with a 50-mile radius rule applied
• Certifications from RCIS or RQI are not accepted
• Applicants must be listed as resigned in the HealthTrust HR system before travel consideration

Requirements

• Active CO or compact RN license required at time of consideration
• Minimum 2 years of recent specialty experience in LTAC or relevant setting
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications required (must not expire within first 30 days of assignment)
• No gaps in work history exceeding 90 days within the past 12 months
• Full US Social Security Number and date of birth required for consideration
• Candidates cannot be currently employed in a permanent position with the health system while on a travel assignment
