Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Progressive Care Unit (PCU) telemetry position requiring a NJ or compact RN license and three years of recent MST/PCU experience.

Responsibilities

• Work in the PCU/MST (Medical Surgical Telemetry) unit of a hospital
• Night shift schedule, 36 hours weekly with every other weekend required
• Patient population typically includes complex medical and surgical cases with telemetry monitoring
• Experience at a large level 1 trauma hospital is required
• Responsibilities include monitoring cardiac telemetry and caring for medical/surgical patients in a progressive setting
• Must be able to work every other weekend as part of the scheduled shifts
• All candidates are required to provide the last 4 digits of SSN and date of birth for consideration

Requirements

• Active NJ or compact RN license required at time of application
• Current American Heart Association BLS and ACLS certifications required
• NIHSS certification required
• Minimum 3 years of recent experience as an RN in MST or PCU settings
• Experience working in a large level 1 trauma hospital required
• Flu vaccination required
• COVID-19 vaccination and at least one booster required (religious exemptions accepted)
