Job Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Med/Surg night shift position in Ohio requiring prior travel experience and flexibility to float to MS-Tele units.

Responsibilities

• Work in a hospital Medical Surgical unit
• Patient population includes general med/surg cases with typical nurse-to-patient ratios of 1:5
• Night shift schedule with 3x12 hour shifts from 19:00 to 07:00
• Required to work every other weekend
• Call required as part of the schedule
• Must be willing to float to other campuses' Med/Surg-Tele units if census drops
• Former permanent employees must have a gap of at least 6 months before returning
• Limited time off requests are preferred
• Responsibilities include providing comprehensive care to Med/Surg patients and supporting floating needs between campuses

Requirements

• Active OH or Compact RN license required
• Minimum of 2 years of recent, consecutive hospital Med/Surg experience required
• Previous travel nursing experience is required
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications required
• Knowledge of medication scanning is required
• Must provide two professional references for consideration
