Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced Radiology Technologist - X-Ray with Hawaii licensure and strong proficiency in diagnostic imaging and radiographic equipment.

Responsibilities

• Work in a diagnostic imaging department with varied 12-hour day and evening shifts
• Average of 3 days of call per month is required
• Patient population includes individuals requiring general diagnostic imaging services
• Uses Meditech and Epic EMR systems, Philips DR, Philips C-arms, OEC C-arms, and Konica DR equipment
• No guarantee of specific hours or time off
• Must report to Employee Health 48-72 hours prior to assignment start
• Travelers must arrive in Hawaii the Thursday before a Monday start for Employee Health clearance
• Expected to function independently while adhering to established protocols for patient care and safety
• Call schedule averages 3 days per month

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of experience as a radiologic technologist
• Current State of Hawaii Radiologic Technologist license required by start date (license required if applicable)
• Current ARRT certification required
• Current BLS certification required
• Proficiency in independent operation of radiographic equipment
• Knowledge of radiation safety and protocols
• Must have a dosimeter badge
• Experience with Meditech, Epic, Philips DR, Philips C-arms, OEC C-arms, and Konica DR preferred
