Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Med/Surg night shift position requiring a MT or compact RN license and at least one year of specialty experience.

Responsibilities

• Work in the Medical-Surgical Unit of a hospital setting
• Night shift, 12-hour shifts, three shifts per week
• Must be willing to float to other departments within scope of competency as needed
• Uses Epic EMR system for documentation
• Performs assessments, plans and evaluates patient care, implements nursing interventions, and provides health education
• Participates in therapy and treatment processes supporting patient well-being
• Documents according to hospital and regulatory guidelines using Epic
• May be required to take on-call duties during scheduled shifts
• Candidates who were permanent staff must be separated from any Intermountain facility for at least one year before being eligible for this travel assignment

Requirements

• Active MT or compact RN license required; pending licenses are not accepted
• Graduation from an accredited School of Nursing with at least an Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN)
• Minimum of one year recent experience in Med/Surg nursing required
• Current AHA Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
• All certifications must be active and not expire before start date
