Job Description

American Traveler is hiring a Mammography Technologist with a minimum of 2 years of experience and ARRT certification for a 13-week travel assignment in an outpatient mammography setting.

Responsibilities

• Outpatient mammography setting
• Procedures include 3D mammography, diagnostic mammograms, digital mammography, and screening mammograms
• GE equipment used
• Epic EMR required
• 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday with no weekend requirements
• Day shifts with varying start times: 6:30 AM–3:00 PM, 7:00–3:30 PM, 7:30–4:00 PM, or 11:30 AM–8:00 PM
• No on-call requirements
• Manager interview required as part of the selection process
• May care for COVID-positive patients
• Tobacco-free and fragrance-free facility
• Holidays coverage required as needed
• RTO is capped at 7 days for the duration of the contract
• Candidates living within 50 miles of the facility will be considered at a local pay rate
• Pre-employment modules are required and must be completed prior to the start date, typically taking 5–6 hours to complete
• Travel pairs are accepted, though matched schedules cannot be guaranteed

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of mammography technologist experience
• ARRT (M) or ARRT (R) certification required; AHA or ARC certifications only accepted
• Epic EMR experience required
• Proficiency with 3D, digital, diagnostic, and screening mammography procedures
• Knowledge of isolation precautions/PPE and radiation safety
• License required if applicable
• First-time travelers will be considered for this position
