Job Description

American Traveler is hiring a Radiology Technologist (X-Ray) for an acute care hospital setting, requiring 2+ years of experience, ARRT certification, and OR/C-Arm experience.

Responsibilities

• Acute care hospital radiology department
• Flexible shift options including day and evening shifts
• Shift lengths of 8, 10, or 12 hours, with 36–40 hours per week
• Weekend, holiday, and on-call coverage required
• EMR: Epic
• OR experience with C-Arm required for this unit
• Perform diagnostic X-Ray imaging in an acute care setting, including OR cases utilizing C-Arm
• May be required to take call in addition to regular scheduled shifts
• Black scrubs required
• Candidates who have previously worked at any WVU Medicine location must have taken a 2-year break before being considered
• Travelers are not permitted to work within the WVU system for longer than one cumulative year without a 2-year break
• An interview with a unit manager is part of the selection process
• First-time travelers are not explicitly excluded, though 2 years of experience is required

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of Rad Tech experience
• Current BLS (AHA) certification required
• ARRT (R) certification required
• OR/C-Arm experience required
• Epic EMR experience preferred
• Candidate's home address must be more than 50 miles from the facility to qualify
• Valid driver's license required for consideration
• License required if applicable
