Job Description

American Traveler is seeking a travel RN for an Emergency Department position in Marion, NC, requiring 2 years of ED experience and active NC or compact RN licensure.

Responsibilities

• Emergency Department (ED) setting at a hospital in Marion, NC
• Night shift: 6:45 PM – 7:15 AM
• 13-week contract
• Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility — local candidates are not eligible
• Copies of certifications will be required as part of the candidate profile

Requirements

• Active NC or compact RN license required
• Minimum 2 years of recent ED nursing experience required
• Required certifications: BLS (AHA or ARC accepted), ACLS, CPI (or accepted equivalent: SAMA, MAB, or ACPMA), TNCC, and NIH Stroke Scale — no certifications may expire within the first 30 days of the assignment start
• US SSN and date of birth required for consideration — no Canadian SSNs accepted
• One professional reference required
• No gaps in work history of 90 days or more within the past 12 months
