Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for an Acute Care Float Pool position requiring Med/Surg Telemetry experience and a minimum of 2 years of RN experience.

Responsibilities

• Acute Care Float Pool position in a hospital setting
• Night shift, 3x12-hour shifts (19:00–07:00)
• Patient ratio of 1:6
• Med/Surg Telemetry patient population
• On-call rotation required
• Weekend requirements to be discussed during interview
• Floating required per clinical experience and unit needs
• Block scheduling accommodated when possible
• Meditech EMR experience preferred
• First-time travelers may be considered with strong experience and clinical knowledge
• Candidates must reside more than 65 miles from the facility to be eligible for this position
• RTO requests are subject to manager's discretion
• On-site drug screening may be conducted on the first day of the assignment

Requirements

• Active KY or compact RN license (no pending licenses accepted)
• Current BLS and NIHSS certifications (AHA-issued) required
• Minimum 2 years of RN experience required
• Med/Surg Telemetry experience required
• DOB, SSN, and 2 professional references required for consideration
• Flu vaccine required — no exemptions accepted
