Job Description

American Traveler is hiring an Interventional Radiology Technologist with a minimum of 2 years of experience and ARRT-R certification for a 13-week travel contract.

Responsibilities

• Works in an Interventional Radiology unit within an acute care hospital setting
• Procedures include angioplasty, stent placement, embolization, carotid angiography, chest tube placement, ERCP, gastrostomy tube placement, liver biopsy, paracentesis, discogram, and vertebroplasty
• Epic EMR experience required
• 4x10 hour day shifts, 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM
• On-call requirement of one night per week
• Weekend call rotation approximately every 4-5 weeks
• First-time travelers are welcome to apply
• Travelers must be clean-shaven to pass respirator fit testing — CAPRs and PAPRs are not provided and personal units are not permitted; no exceptions will be made

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of IR Tech experience
• ARRT-R and BLS required; advanced ARRT certification preferred
• Proficiency in Epic EMR
• Experience with angioplasty, stent placement, embolization, carotid angiography, chest tube placement, ERCP, gastrostomy tube placement, liver biopsy, paracentesis, discogram, and vertebroplasty
• Candidates must reside more than 70 miles from the facility to be eligible
• 2 professional references from a supervisor within the past 2 years required for consideration
• License required if applicable
