Job Description
American Traveler is hiring an Interventional Radiology Technologist with a minimum of 2 years of experience and ARRT-R certification for a 13-week travel contract.
Responsibilities
- Works in an Interventional Radiology unit within an acute care hospital setting
- Procedures include angioplasty, stent placement, embolization, carotid angiography, chest tube placement, ERCP, gastrostomy tube placement, liver biopsy, paracentesis, discogram, and vertebroplasty
- Epic EMR experience required
- 4x10 hour day shifts, 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM
- On-call requirement of one night per week
- Weekend call rotation approximately every 4-5 weeks
- First-time travelers are welcome to apply
- Travelers must be clean-shaven to pass respirator fit testing — CAPRs and PAPRs are not provided and personal units are not permitted; no exceptions will be made
Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years of IR Tech experience
- ARRT-R and BLS required; advanced ARRT certification preferred
- Proficiency in Epic EMR
- Experience with angioplasty, stent placement, embolization, carotid angiography, chest tube placement, ERCP, gastrostomy tube placement, liver biopsy, paracentesis, discogram, and vertebroplasty
- Candidates must reside more than 70 miles from the facility to be eligible
- 2 professional references from a supervisor within the past 2 years required for consideration
- License required if applicable
