Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a night shift Emergency Department position requiring 2+ years of ED experience, active NC or compact licensure, and TNCC certification.

Responsibilities

• Emergency Department setting in a hospital environment
• Night shift schedule: 6:45 PM – 7:15 AM
• Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility — local candidates are not eligible
• One professional reference required (two required if the candidate is from Florida or Missouri)

Requirements

• Active NC or compact RN license required
• Minimum 2 years of recent ED nursing experience required
• Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, TNCC, CPI (or accepted equivalent: SAMA, MAB, or ACPMA), and NIH Stroke Scale — all certifications must remain valid through at least the first 30 days of the assignment
• US SSN and date of birth required for consideration
• No gaps in work history of 90 days or more within the past 12 months
