Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for an Interventional Radiology position at a short-term acute care hospital in Florida, with on-call requirements and multi-site floating responsibilities.

Responsibilities

• Interventional Radiology unit within a 180-bed short-term acute care hospital
• Day shift, 4x10-hour shifts, 7:00 AM – 5:30 PM
• Cath/IR, neuro, and procedural case experience preferred
• Charting via Epic
• Floating required across all three system hospitals within approximately 20 miles (Martin North, Martin South, and Tradition)
• On-call required approximately once per week and once every six weekends; specific requirements to be discussed with the manager during the interview
• Local candidates are accepted at the same rate
• First-time travelers are welcome to apply
• White scrubs required
• Free parking available in any unrestricted space
• Time-sensitive onboarding modules must be completed promptly upon assignment confirmation
• All requested time off (RTO) must be submitted upfront; RTO added after submission will likely not be approved
• This is a smoke-free and nicotine-free facility with no exceptions
• Pending RN license accepted

Requirements

• Active FL or Compact RN license required
• BLS and ACLS required at time of consideration; NIHSS must be obtained prior to start
• Minimum 18 months of RN experience required; 2 years preferred
• Cath/IR nursing, neuro, or procedural nursing experience preferred
• Epic experience preferred
• Two professional references required for consideration
• Valid driver's license and Social Security card copies required for consideration
• Must be nicotine-free; a negative 10-panel drug screen including cotinine (nicotine) is required
