Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for an Interventional Radiology position at a short-term acute care hospital in Florida, requiring at least 18 months of experience and current BLS and ACLS certifications.

Responsibilities

• Work in the Interventional Radiology unit of a 180-bed short-term acute care hospital
• Cath/IR, neuro, and procedural experience are preferred for this role
• Charting is done using Epic
• Schedule is days, 4x10-hour shifts, 7:00–17:30
• Floating is required across all three affiliated hospitals (Martin North, Martin South, and Tradition) within a 20-mile radius
• On-call is required approximately once per week and once every six weekends; specific requirements will be discussed during the interview
• Block scheduling is not available for this position
• First-time travelers are welcome to apply
• Local candidates are accepted at the same rate as travelers
• All requested time off (RTO) must be submitted upfront, as additions after submission are unlikely to be approved
• Time-sensitive onboarding modules must be prioritized and completed promptly upon confirmation of assignment
• White scrubs are required
• Parking is free in any unrestricted space
• This is a smoke-free and nicotine-free facility with no exceptions

Requirements

• Active FL or compact RN license required; pending license accepted
• Minimum 18 months of RN experience required; 2 years preferred
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications required at time of consideration
• NIHSS certification must be obtained prior to start
• Two professional references required for consideration
• Valid driver's license and Social Security card required for consideration
• Must be nicotine-free; a negative 10-panel drug screen including cotinine (nicotine) test is required
