Job Description

American Traveler is hiring a travel RN for an Operating Room position in Palmdale, CA, with experience in neuro, robotic, and total joint procedures required and on-call responsibilities included.

Responsibilities

• Work in the Surgery/OR department of an acute care hospital setting
• Day shift schedule with varied hours: 6:30 AM–7:00 PM or 9:00 AM–9:30 PM, 12-hour shifts
• Weekend rotations required
• On-call required for 12-hour shifts on weeknights and weekends with a 30-minute call response time
• 10-week contract
• Candidate must be able to respond on-site within 30 minutes when on call
• NURSYS verification or equivalent primary license verification (within last 30 days) required for consideration

Requirements

• Active CA RN license required
• Current BLS certification required
• Neuro OR experience required, including spine and craniotomy cases
• Robotic surgery experience required
• Total joint experience required
• Cardiac OR experience preferred
• Skills checklist completed within the last 12 months required for consideration
• Two professional references from a manager or supervisor within the last 2 years required for consideration
