Job Description
American Traveler is seeking a specialized Pelvic Health Physical Therapist with 2+ years of experience and pelvic rehabilitation certification for an outpatient rehab setting in Cape Coral, FL.
Responsibilities
- Outpatient rehabilitation setting, floating between two outpatient locations (CCH and City Center)
- Shift hours are 8-10 hours, days vary between 7:00 AM and 6:00 PM
- 5 shifts per week on an 8-hour day schedule
- No on-call requirements
- EMR: Epic
- Clinical focus includes evaluation and treatment of pelvic rehab for urinary incontinence, fecal incontinence, and pelvic pain in women
- Preferred experience in evaluation and treatment of pelvic rehab for urinary incontinence, fecal incontinence, and pelvic pain in men
- Floating is required; travelers are first to float and may float to sister campuses
- Travelers are expected to integrate as core staff and contribute positively to unit culture — flexibility and a team-player attitude are highly valued
- All RTO and schedule requests must be submitted at the time of application; requests will not be accepted after an offer is made
- Block scheduling requests are not accepted
- Orientation includes a required in-person visit to the facility for badging/ID
- Hard document deadline is the Monday prior to the start date with no exceptions
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of pelvic health physical therapy experience required
- Current BLS certification required
- Either a Hermann & Wallace Pelvic Rehabilitation Practitioner Certification or APTA Board Certification in Pelvic & Women's Health required
- Active Florida PT license required if applicable
- Epic EMR experience required
- Demonstrated competency in evaluation and treatment of pelvic floor dysfunction including urinary incontinence, fecal incontinence, and pelvic pain
- Must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to qualify for the travel pay rate
- Two professional references required, with at least one from within the past year
- Copies of certifications required for consideration
