Job Description

American Traveler is hiring a Interventional Radiology Technologist with at least 1 year of IR experience and proficiency in a wide range of interventional procedures including angioplasty, embolization, and stent placement.

Responsibilities

• Acute care hospital Interventional Radiology unit
• Procedures include angioplasty, chest tube placement, ERCP, gastrostomy tube placement, liver biopsy, paracentesis, stent placement, carotid angiography, discogram, embolization, and vertebroplasty
• 5x8 hour day shifts, 7:00 AM – 3:00 PM
• One night of call per week
• Weekend call rotation every 4–5 weeks
• Epic EMR experience required
• 13-week contract
• First-time travelers are welcome to apply
• Travelers must be clean-shaven for N95 mask fit testing — CAPRs and PAPRs are not provided by the facility and personal CAPRs/PAPRs are not permitted on-site; there are no exceptions to this policy

Requirements

• Minimum of 1 year of Interventional Radiology experience required
• ARRT-R and BLS required; advanced ARRT certification preferred
• License required if applicable
• Epic EMR experience required
• Candidates must reside more than 70 miles from the facility to be eligible
• 2 professional references from a supervisor within the past 2 years required for consideration
